The Sherman Antitrust Act was caused by Standard Oil, which was founded by Rockefeller. Standard Oil was also the first company in American history to be truly broken up by the Sherman Antitrust Act.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"ExxonMobil\"><\/span>ExxonMobil<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ExxonMobil (ticker: XOM) is the main successor of Standard Oil. The Rockefeller family currently has no shares in ExxonMobil. Rockefeller was ambitious, modest and frugal, but generous in donating money to charity. He set an example himself, established family rules from a young age, and educated the successor of Rockefeller&#8217;s business empire.
