My own awakening is that making friends with the people has following problematic personality is not only unhelpful to your life, but also harmful in the long run; because over time, your values and character will definitely be affected, and you will be poisoned without knowing it.
People with problematic personality
I have a college classmate who is the owner of a small or medium-sized business. I had dinner with him one time. He told me something that shocked me and showed me some videos (He is one of the shareholders of the victimized small and medium-sized enterprise). A college classmate of ours, who had been a mutual friend for a long time, was accused by his former employer of repeatedly breaking into the company after get off work or on holidays, with his wife and his son, who had graduated from college and also worked in the same company, and stealing company property, ranging from small valuables to golf clubs to large items like screens.
After his behavior was exposed, the wife of this classmate with questionable behaviour negotiated with his employer, demanding that the employer pay severance pay, otherwise she would sue the employer at the Labor Bureau.
Lie through one’s teeth
Such people who speak shamelessly have no sense of right and wrong, no humanity, and cannot be reasoned with. They violate the basic principles of being a human being. It is very painful to be with such people. With two sets of standards as the rules of life, you can’t have any expectations of him. Like what Buffett said: “Honesty is a very expensive gift. Don’t expect it from cheap people.”
He lies without blushing or breathing heavily, and thinks he is very smart. He walks on the road at night a lot, so I can only wish him good luck.
Fence-sitter
Such people have no principles. They say one thing to one person and another thing to another person. He who betrays others for personal gain today will betray you that day. If you make friends with someone who has no principles, you are playing with fire.
Violation of conscience
There is nothing that a person who is willing to do something that goes against his conscience cannot do. For this kind of people, human moral bottom line does not exist at all.
No sense of justice
For those who have no sense of justice, basic human moral conscience is dispensable. We cannot reason with or regulate this type of person. Don’t count on that he will step up at the critical moment.

The above is my life experience. Stay away from these people. No matter how long you have known them, remove them from your friend list!
As a person, you can certainly have different beliefs, values, identities, outlooks on life, principles of doing things, and perspectives on things; but “character” is the bottom line that cannot be compromised, and this has nothing to do with the times, region, race, or age.
Over time, you will gradually discover that only people with integrity, sincerity, and honesty are worthy of being your lifelong friends. In the end, you will find that these basic things that your parents and school teachers asked you to do when you were in elementary school are truly priceless and difficult to find again.
