Tech stocks are the driver of U.S. stocks

If you are not new to U.S. stock investing, or you are a reader of my investment books, or a reader of this blog, you all know that in the past half century, the driving force behind the rise of U.S. stocks, and even global stock markets, has been mainly technology stocks. As for the reasons, I have talked about it enough in my book, and I will not repeat the content in the book here.

Tech ETFs are suitable for retail investors

Since the rising force of global stock markets is mainly technology stocks, in reality or under objective conditions, active stock selection is not suitable for most investors.

Retail investors also want to participate in the investment returns brought about by the rise of technology stocks, but do not want to invest in major market indexes such as the S&P 500, Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, or Nasdaq Index; then choosing technology stock ETFs may be suitable for most retail investors.
