Purpose of Writing This Book

Not try to please readers, not afraid of offending anyone by stating facts, not consider that the truth may hurt sales, not beat around the bush, not try to please both sides, not only report good news but not bad news, not follow the crowd, and something might make you feel uncomfortable.

I will only talk about the workable methods that are truly beneficial and effective for investors to accumulate wealth in the “long term”, “sustainability” in your life, and have been “proven by decades of investment performance” by myself and top renowned investment guru.

To put it bluntly, this isn’t a winning piece in an “essay competition.”–Unlike most investment books on the market only “tell you” what or how to do, and talk about “this is what I have done for 30 years” to achieve an annualized investment return at the Buffett level.

Please note: these books, what the authors do is different from what they said in their book, they are not able to do, and they don’t know the consequence they tell in the book——Because they are just imagining, just guessing, just thinking it must be so, and everyone is doing this.

A Simple Little Book

My idea was to write a book that’s simple and accessible to everyone, showcasing the methods I actually use. It’s free of theory and distance, focusing solely on the most important factors that will benefit investors throughout their lives and impact their entire investing career. If you adopt these principles, they will definitely transform your investment performance. Therefore, this book is only a little over 170 pages long, making it a quick read.

This Book Is Not a Novel

The content of this book is my thirty years of investment experience, which is the sharing of my actual experience. It has my own actual execution and verified performance of 23% annualized return rate and 382 times growth over 30 years. It’s not to win a war with words, idle theorizing, armchair strategist, to indulge in armchair strategy, empty rhetoric, or fanciful speculation. It’s not an academic research report, and it doesn’t contain formulas. It doesn’t require readers to chase trending stocks, subscribe any stock club services, join investment memberships, monitor the market daily, or follow influencers or celebrities.

Sound investment principles never become obsolete

My primary goal was to create a book that, unlike the previous two, emphasizes principles that will still hold true thirty, fifty, or even a hundred years from now.

This book emphasizes time-tested principles that have consistently produced excess returns and achieved Buffett-level investment results.

A retail investor followed Buffett and the performance

I have devoted the most attention to key sections throughout the book, comparing the practices of respected investment gurus with my own approach. The goal is to show everyone these gurus’ approached and a retail investor has kept doing their approach for thirty years. I will repeatedly emphasize this key point in the book.

The truth may not be accepted by most people

There are many things in this book that I have never revealed in my blog or previous books. The reason I do this is because most people despise these things that I believe are actually important, and these are the factors that make super investors.

The same content is not seen in other books

In particular, I have hardly seen the things I wrote in my book in Chinese investment books. I guess the reason is: (1) It takes a lot of time to organize these things, and no one is willing to do so. Writing a book is a tiring thing. (2) Even if they know that these things are important and are forced to talk about or mention them, few people will or are willing to disclose these details. (3) I don’t agree with these practices from the bottom of my heart, and I don’t believe that anyone can really do it, persist for decades, and have a proven and convincing annualized investment return comparable to Buffett’s level.
